Several years ago, a friend introduced me to the craft of wood turning. I was fascinated by the things that could be made on a lathe out of wood. One of my great delights is just seeing the beauty and wonderful design God has placed in trees. He created it, I just cut and polish it, and He gets the credit for His amazing artistry.

I have learned that numerous things can be turned on a lathe including not only wood, but antler, acrylics, corncob, seed pods, bone, cactus, and most anything that can be cut on a lathe. I have a personal thing for pens so I enjoy matching various patterns of wood, burls, or other material to a hardware kit. But the list of things I can make is long, please browse my website and see what is available today. If you don’t see what you like I will be happy to take a custom order. Presently a resident of Wichita, KS, I have served the church of Jesus Christ for over fifty years as a pastor/teacher. Connie and I have enjoyed marriage and family for a like period of time and God has blessed us with four children, fourteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Happily, the family keeps growing.
